Blitzly is the brain child of my co-founder & myself. It was brought out of the trenches in 2011, after a quick realization that there was a major need in the small to medium size business market for a way to help retain customers. Businesses these days, are going through a lot of changes due to start ups like Living Social, and Groupon, which are amazing at bringing in hundreds if not thousands of new customers in an amazingly short amount of time.

This is when Blitzly was born

It was started in January of 2011, and publicly launched in Mid July 2011, I was in charge of all the design & front end html, css, and javascript for the app. It is built on a heavily customized event based Ruby on Rails stack. It is currently live and running with a number of businesses helping them reward their customers daily.
